8-31-17 wi custodian finds lunch money lost 30 years ago

ANTIGO, Wis. (AP) — A custodian preparing a Wisconsin elementary school for the new year discovered an envelope with lunch money lost more than 30 years ago.  The envelope was found at West Elementary in Antigo, in an area where students hung their jackets and backpacks. 8-31-17 former grave digger alleges co-workers were drunk and stoned

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A former Wisconsin grave digger says he was fired because he tried to blow the whistle on drunken, stoned co-workers who smashed casket boxes with a backhoe. The Fond du Lac Salvation Army says financial resources is the greatest need for Hurricane Harvey victims.  Salvation Army spokesman Ron Jacobson says the Salvation Army has activated all of its U.S. and Canadian emergency disaster response assets.  Jacobson says Salvation Army mobile emergency food and hydration vehicles and personnel are moving through the affected areas and will continue until help is no longer needed.
