The Waupun police chief says he is very thankful for a donation from a Madison couple that will help provide the department’s K9 with a new bulletproof vest.  Police chief Scott Louden says Joel and Kathy Shittone donated $700  to the Vest a Dog program which helps fund bullet proof vests for police dogs.  Louden says the vest was tailored to K9 Boomer’s measurements.  “It was obviously a great donation for our department to keep Boomer safe,”  Louden told WFDL news.
