MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin's juvenile prisons have been placed on lockdown while guards from an adult prison help search for contraband.  The Wisconsin Department of Corrections confirmed Tuesday that the search was underway. 10-31-17 ripon woman found living out of van with 10 pet dogs and a cat

10-31-17 fire damages waupun subway restaurant

Nobody was injured in a fire at the Waupun Subway restaurant.  Firefighters were called to Subway on Shaler Drive,  Monday morning for a report of a structure fire.   Upon arrival, smoke and flames were seen above the drop-ceiling in the back area of the kitchen.   Firefighters made entry into the business and quickly knocked down the fire,  containing it to the kitchen and attic areas.   It took firefighters approximately a […]

Nobody was injured in an armed standoff in Waupun.  The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office and Waupun police were called  to assist the U.S. Marshalls Office with a barricaded subject.   A 25-year-old man  who was wanted on several felony warrants, had barricaded himself inside a residence in the 500 block of E.
