One person was injured in a two vehicle crash in Fond du Lac County Friday afternoon. The crash happened on Highway 151 and Silica Road in the town of Taycheeda. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says a southbound vehicle on 151 was struck by a northbound vehicle on USH 151 that was attempting to turn left into a residential driveway. The northbound vehicle failed to yield right away while making the turn. The driver and lone occupant of the southbound vehicle,51-year-old Robert Simon, from Malone was not injured. The driver and lone occupant of the northbound vehicle 24-year-old Mackenzie Miller from Rosendale was flown by Flight for Life Helicopter to Theda Medical Center in Neenah with minor injuries. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash. Alcohol and speed do not appear to be a factor in the crash. USH 151 was closed between Silica Rd and CTH Q for less than one hour.
