Fond du Lac County Highway projects are wrapping up for this season, and planning is underway for next year. Fond du lac County Highway commissioner Tom Janke says work should be done in a couple of weeks on Pioneer Road between Hickory Street and Military Road. Janke says there are a couple of other projects that should be done this month. “We’re finishing up a right turn lane on Highway K. New Fane reconstruct, that’s basically completed, and Highway G is another one in that same area,” Janke told WFDL news. “We finished a crack and seal project last week on Highway 23 east.” Janke says one of the big projects planned for next year includes reconstructing a portion of County Highway AW near Waupun. Janke says work is also planned on Pioneer Road and County OOO. The county will continue planning for work scheduled in the future on Highway V from Highway 45 to Pioneer Road, Other projects are scheduled for Highways GGG in the town of Auburn, and AS in the Alto area.
