One person received life-threatening injuries in a two vehicle  crash in Dodge County.  The crash happened shortly after 11am Wednesday on state Highway 33 at the intersection with County Highway V, in the town of Hubbard.  A preliminary investigation shows that a vehicle traveling south on Cth V entered the intersection with Highway 33 colliding with a Peterbilt straight truck towing a trailer.   The car driver was flown to Aurora […]

11-30-17 medical examiner says woman found dead near hazelhurst died from natural causes

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office says it appears  a 62-year-old woman whose body was found in Hazelhurst on Tuesday died after falling down a steep embankment.   The Sheriff’s office says a  preliminary investigation into Margie Hurula's death does not  indicate foul play.  The Oneida County Medical Examiner said initial autopsy results show Hurula died from natural causes.  Searchers found Hurula's body in the Hazelhurst woods on Tuesday afternoon.   She had […]
