Book World announced Tuesday it will close all its stores. The company will begin liquidation sales Nov. 2 at each of its 45 stores in seven states. Book World has 20 stores in Wisconsin including Fond du Lac and Oshkosh and its corporate office in Appleton. The sale will run until all of the inventory is sold, probably in January. The first Book World opened in 1976 in Rhinelander and has since become the fourth-largest bookstore chain in the country .
