Fond du Lac police say a Fond du Lac man may have died from hypothermia after he was found in the Fond du Lac River early Wednesday morning. Assistant police chief Steve Klein says the 57 year old man was pronounced dead at St. Agnes Hospital after he was pulled from the river shortly before 3am. Klein says an autopsy will hopefully determine if the man died from hypothermia. Temperatures were in the low 30s overnight. Police were called to an area of the river at the dead end of John St, for a report of an intoxicated male subject who was in the river. Klein says investigators are still trying to determine how the many ended up in the river.
