The North Fond du Lac School District is moving forward to expand a new business program at Horace Mann High School. School District administrator Aaron Sadoff says INCubatorEdu allows students the opportunity to develop their own real-world services and products that could potentially garner thousands of dollars in funding. Sadoff says community entrepreneurs and business experts serve as volunteer coaches and mentors guiding student teams in developing a business concept. Sadoff says money will be awarded at the end of of the year to those students in a “Shark Tank” like format. Donations from local businesses and the Fond du Lac Noon Rotary will fund the construction of an innovative new classroom ready for next school year. Sadoff says a fundraising goal of $85,000 will fully fund the renovation and course for the next 6 years.
