Nobody was injured in a car fire in Fond du Lac County Sunday afternoon. Fond du Lac County sheriff’s deputies and a state patrol trooper responded and quickly extinguished the fire on I-41 near CTH 000 in the town of Fond du Lac. The five occupants of the vehicle from the Appleton area were uninjured. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The Van Dyne Fire Department assisted at the scene.
