A Fond du Lac High School student is okay after she apparently tried to hang herself at the school. Shortly after 9:30am Monday rescue personnel were called for a report of a 16 year old girl who tried to hang herself in a school bathroom. Fond du Lac Fire chief Pete O’Leary says the girl was conscious when paramedics arrived. The School District says it was contacted by a parent concerned about the well being of the child. The District said the child was found responsive and is being cared for by the family.
