Firefighters are on the scene of a fire in Calumet County.  At about 3:30am Tuesday firefighters were called to an auto repair shop in Forest Junction.  That’s at the intersection of Highway 10 and Highway 32/57.   The highways are closed, due to the fire.

1-30-18 fdl county traffic fatalities

A Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s captain says there was a concerning trend among the 11 traffic fatalities in the county last year.  Sheriff’s captain Ryan Waldschmidt says more elderly drivers were killed in several of the crashes.  Waldschmidt says in seven of the crashes the average age of the driver was 78.  Waldschmidt says  the crashes raise the question about if some of the elderly drivers should have been […]

1-30-18 fire lambeau employee pleads not guilty in vehicle rampage

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — A fired Lambeau Field food service employee accused of ramming several vehicles while chasing down a former co-worker and another man has pleaded not guilty.  Forty-year-old Chay Vang is facing seven charges, including recklessly endangering safety. 1-29-18 ambulance called to fdl high school for report of a student who tried to hang herself

A  Fond du Lac High School student is okay after she apparently tried to hang herself at the school.    Shortly after 9:30am Monday rescue personnel were called for a report of a 16 year old girl who tried to hang herself in a school bathroom.  Fond du Lac Fire chief Pete O’Leary says the girl was conscious when paramedics arrived.  The School District says it was contacted by a parent […]
