The Fond du Lac police chief says school entry access needs to be addressed in the wake of the latest mass shooting at a Florida school. Chief Bill Lamb says there needs to be discussion locally about monitoring access points at all schools. “Minimally physical contact as far as people coming and going,” Lamb told WFDL news. “I believe that schools should have very limited access on entry. There needs to be somebody there monitoring.” Lamb says its time to talk about tightening up access to the schools. Meanwhile Lamb says the also has to be an effort to catch the warning signs before something happens. The School District sent a letter to parents last week assuring them the District is doing everything it can to protect students.
