2-28-18 flu season finally peaks

The Fond  du Lac County Public Health Department says the flu season has officially peaked.  Public Health nurse, Joyce Mann, says even though the season has peaked its still important to take precautions, including staying home if you’re sick.   “Yes it has peaked.  The CDC over the weekend mentioned that nationwide it seems to have hit the peak,”  Mann told WFDL news.  Mann says this season was severe and the number of cases will remain high for a few weeks.
