3-8-18 fire destroys house in fdl county

Nobody was injured in a fire that destroyed a house in  Fond du Lac County.  Firefighters were called to the scene at  N9932 Winnebago Heights Rd  in the town of Calumet Wednesday afternoon to find flames visible through the roof.   Investigators say the fire appears to  have started near the furnace and is not suspicious. 3-8-18 specialists detonate explosive after fatal blast in beaver dam

BEAVER DAM, Wis. (AP) — Authorities say a team of explosive experts has successfully detonated volatile chemicals at a Beaver Dam apartment where a man was killed in an explosion earlier this week.   Police Chief John Kreuziger says Wednesday's detonation eliminated "the threatening explosive material." 3-8-18 waupun receives grant to study needs of aging population
