A Fox Lake woman is going to prison for covering up the murder of her son’s girlfriend. Sixty five year old Marjorie Jones was sentenced to six years in prison and ten years of extended supervision Friday. Her son, Laverne Ware Jr., is charged in the death of his girlfriend and cousin, 27-year-old Sesalie Dixon. Police say Jones knew her son hid Dixon’s body in a truck inside her garage. Ware is scheduled to go on trial in September.
