Fond du Lac Avenue from Sixth Street to North of National Ave
Schedule: April 2018 thru October 2018
Description of work: The project work consists of placing new sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, excavation, grading, stone base, asphalt pavement, concrete pavement, curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, asphalt pedestrian trail, traffic signals, lighting, pavement marking, signing, and landscaping.
April 16th to April 20th: The contractor will be installing water main, sanitary and water laterals, and storm sewer from 9th Street to 6th Street or Stage 1. In addition Alliant Energy plans to start gas main relay from Boyd Street to the south.
Traffic impacts: Fond du Lac Avenue will be closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED – LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY” signs. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Parking is not permitted on the street during working hours.
Project Detour: South National Avenue at the intersection with Fond du Lac Avenue to Fourth Street at the intersection with Fond du Lac Avenue.
