MILWAUKEE (AP) — A memorial service is scheduled Friday for the pilot and two crew members killed when a medical helicopter crashed in northern Wisconsin. Ascension Wisconsin Spirit Medical Transport and Air Methods will host the service at Holy Family Catholic Church in Woodruff. A Sheboygan man is charged with OWI after  his two young children  fell out of the van he was driving Tuesday night.  Police say witnesses said they saw the two children fall into the intersection.  Police say when they arrested the father a short time later he told officers he was not aware his children had fallen out of the vehicle. 5-3-18 two killed in sheboygan car vs tree crash

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) — Two people have died and two others have been injured in a single-vehicle crash in Sheboygan.  Police say the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle which crashed into a tree and a parked car on the city's south side Wednesday morning.  Veeser says two people were pronounced dead at the scene. Two others were rushed to the hospital.

5-2-18 rollover crash seriously injures campbellsport man

5-2-18 nfdl man accused of sexually assaulting 10 year old girl

Bail was set at $100,000 cash for a North Fond du Lac man accused of sexually assaulting a child.  Fifty seven year old Ronald Shingleton is charged with first degree sexual assault of a child.   According to a criminal complaint Shingleton sexually assaulted a 10 year old girl multiple times, telling the child it was punishment.   A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 10.

5-2-18 fatal hwy 23 crash investigation

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into a fatal traffic crash on Highway 23 west of Fond du Lac Monday.  Seventy one year old Joseph Mineau of Oakfield was killed when his car collided with a semi.  Sheriff’s captain Ryan Waldschmidt says investigators want to know why Mineau  drove into the path of the semi after stopping at a stop sign on Highway C.  "That […]
