2-28-19 fdl bulky waste fee structure

The city of Fond du Lac is planning to experiment with a new fee structure for its bulky waste disposal program.   The Fond du Lac city council approved a resolution Wednesday night restructuring the solid waste fee schedule.  Public Works director Jordan Skiff says starting in April instead of a flat $20 fee per load,  the  new structure will charge depending on the amount of bulky waste being dropped off.  Skiff says there will  be no charge for very small amounts,  with an increasing  charge for larger amounts.
