4-1-19 fdl county stabbing incident

One person was flown by helicopter to the hospital and one person is in custody following a stabbing incident in Fond du lac County.   Fond du Lac County Sheriff Ryan Waldschmidt says the incident  occurred in a motor vehicle south of  Campbellsport at approximately 1:30am on Satuday.   The victim was airlifted to a hospital and the suspect is in custody at the Fond du Lac County Jail.  Waldschmidt says the […]

4-1-19 fire at federal mogul in waupun

Nobody was injured in a fire that damaged a Waupun business.  Shortly before 2am Saturday firefighters were called to a report of a machine that was burning at Federal Mogul on   Industrial Drive.  Crews quickly put the fire out however there was significant damage done to the machine.   Firefighters were on scene for a couple of  hours and employees were able to return to work after smoke was vented from […]

Fond du Lac’s premier home and garden expo is being held this weekend  at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds.  The Super Home Extravaganza  continues  Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm at the Fairgrounds Expo Building.  The show features several  booths and demonstrations for building a new home or remodeling your home, landscape ideas and more.   There’s also a kids area and plenty of food.

3-30-19 convicted fdl child sex offender convicted of sexual assault

A convicted child sex offender has been convicted of sexually assaulting a  Fond du Lac woman.  Following  a  trial this week a  Fond du Lac Jury found Richard Forsyth II  guilty of   second and fourth degree sexual assault and not  guilty of false imprisonment.    A pre-sentence investigation was ordered.   Police say Forsyth sexually  assaulted  a woman at a Second Street residence  in the city of Fond du lac in December.  […]

A Brandon teenager has been convicted of  sexually assaulting a young girl.  Eighteen  year old James Iverson Jr.  pleaded no contest to amended  charges of  causing a child to view a sex act and exposing genitals to a child.  A charge of first degree sexual assault of a child was dismissed and read into the record.  He was accused of sexually assaulting a four year old girl his mother was […]
