Fond du Lac Public Works – Water Utility says Macy Street and Western Avenue is closed. Macy Street between Second Street and Western Avenue is closed and the westbound lane of Western Avenue between Main Street and Oak Street will be closed. One southbound lane of Macy Street at Western Ave has reopened to limited traffic movements. Traffic on Macy Street will be able to continue south to Linden Street or turn right on Western Ave. Left turns from Macy Street will be prohibited until the end of the day Monday, March 4th. The westbound lane of traffic on Western Avenue west of Main Street will remain closed until Monday. The closure is in place to allow the water utility to make emergency repairs to the water main and complete pavement restoration. At this time local traffic will be maintained.
