Construction is getting under soon on a multi-million dollar expansion at Central Wisconsin Christian School in Waupun. Director of Advancement Gregg Zonnefeld says the school’s board of directors gave the go ahead to start construction after fundraising reached the 70 percent mark after a recent 21 day public fundraising challenge. “We had put some hold-backs into the project in case we didn’t get to that but the board took all the hold-backs off said full speed ahead,” Zonnefeld told WFDL news. “…let’s get er goin and build a school.” A groundbreaking ceremony will be held April first, with completion in time for the start of next school year. The project includes renovation of existing classrooms and three new classrooms added to the middle school and creation of a Learning Commons, a new elementary wing classrooms, a new bus garage, and renovations of parking, playground and practice fields. The project also includes creation of an AgProTech program.
