Less than a week to go before the April 2 election and Fond du Lac school officials continue to get the word out on a major building referendum. Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert says voters are being asked two questions, for permission to spend $91.5 million for building upgrades at all schools, and another $7 million to make sure all schools in the district have air conditioning. Sebert says the timing is perfect now that the High School has been paid off. Sebert says the projects will help upgrade buildings that were built in the 50s, 60s and 70s. Sebert says the projects are important from a building maintenance standpoint, but also to enhance student learning.
