Republican congressman Glenn Grothman says he’s not surprised that the Mueller investigation found no collusion between Russian and president Donald Trump during the 2016 election. Grothman says he thinks the signficance of the investigation has been exaggerated by the mainstream media. “I do not feel as I get around my district a lot of people were waiting for the Mueller report,” Grothman told WFDL news. “I think people feel that somehow Russia helped Donald Trump steal the election is a little bit kind of extreme conspiracy theory stuff.” At the same time Grothman says he hopes the full report will be released to the public. Grothman says part of the problem is the statements that president Trump makes on issues like immigration, for example, that enrage some people.
