3-4-19 man, woman found dead in oshkosh

OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) — Police in Oshkosh are investigating after a man and a woman died over the weekend.  Officers were called to a weapons complaint on the south side of Oshkosh on Saturday afternoon. Police found a 26-year-old man who was dead. A 26-year-old woman had multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at a hospital.  The incident happened at a residence. 3-4-19 beaver dam man convicted in heroin overdose death

A Beaver Dam man has been convicted in a heroin overedose death.  A Dodge County jury found 29 year old  Brian K. Larson, II guilty of First Degree Reckless Homicide, for the delivery of heroin that caused the death of Dakoda Kline.  Klein was found dead in a vehicle parked in a cemetery in April of  2017.  Investigators say Klein died from a heroin overdose and purchased the heroin from […]

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Democratic Gov. Tony Evers doesn't plan to build any new prisons to accommodate Wisconsin's burgeoning inmate population.  Evers released his budget Thursday. The spending plan doesn't call for building a new facility, or replacing the aging prison in Green Bay.  Instead, it calls for adding one barracks at Taycheedah Correctional Institution and two at Jackson Correctional Institution.
