A Campbellsport man faces his tenth drunken driving offense after slamming his boat into a pier on Long Lake and then driving away without reporting it. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s captain Bill Tadych tells WFDL news shortly after 4pm Sunday 49 year old Timothy Mills was operating a boat on Long Lake when he struck the pier at N3910 Beach Avenue, destroying the pier. Tadych says Mills then loaded his boat on a trailer near Benson’s Hideaway and drove off. He was later arrested at his home in Campbellsport. Mills faces charges of OWI tenth offense, intoxicated boating and failing to report an accident.
