Fond du Lac School officials are beginning the process of prioritizing projects following passage of a major building referendum last month. Voters approved a $91.5 million building referendum and $7 million question to make sure all school buildings are air conditioned. Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert says a kick-off meeting was recently. “We basically are going to start meeting every two weeks, ultimately trying to start projects, design projects throughout the rest of this year,” Sebert told WFDL news. Sebert says the first projects will be let for bid around January and the first construction will probably start about a year from now. Sebert says the District also has to figure out how to schedule the projects to result in the least impact to the education process.
