(AP) — A federal appellate panel has affirmed a lower court's decision to dismiss a northern Wisconsin tribe's lawsuit seeking to block a rival tribe's casino expansion.  The Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohicans sued in 2017 to block the Ho-Chunk Nation from expanding its Wittenberg casino, which opened in 2008. 4-30-19 fdl county jail staff thwart suicide attempt

A Portage man is back in the Fond du lac County Jail following a suicide attempt Monday morning.   Jail administrator Jim Borgen  tells WFDL news early Monday morning  32 year old Troy Kratz attempted to strangle himself with his underwear  in his jail cell.  Jail staff observed him on camera and stopped  the attempt.  Kratz was reported to be semi-conscious when he was transported to  St. Agnes Hospital.     He was […]
