The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is offering a reward regarding the poisonings of wildlife and pet dogs in northern Wisconsin.  Dogs have died in Bayfield, Marinette and Florence County.   Pet dogs, coyotes, weasels, raccoons and at least one wolf have been found dead.   DNR warden Andrew Lundin tells WFDL news investigators believe the person or persons responsible was specifically targeting predatory animals, possibly wolves.  Lundin says poison was found […]

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Tony Evers has appointed three new University of Wisconsin System regents.  Evers announced Monday that he has appointed Karen Walsh of Madison, Edumund Moneydeeds III of Eau Claire and Olivia Woodmansee, a UW-La Crosse student to the board.  They will replace John Behling, Regina Millner and Ryan Ring. 4-29-19 high speed chase-sheboygan county

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) — Authorities say speeds during an interstate chase in Sheboygan County reached 115 miles an hour before the fleeing driver crashed into a squad car, a tree and two parked vehicles. Sheriff's officials say a deputy tried to stop the man on Interstate 43 Saturday night because he was driving erratically. The 25-year-old man sped away and led authorities on a chase before eventually crashing.
