Damage totals from the March 14 flood are in excess of $200,000 in the city of Fond du Lac. City manager Joe Moore told the Fond du Lac City council this week the city’s application with Wisconsin Emergency Management for state public assistance lists damage totals at $204,410. Moore says that includes $142,000 for debris clearance, $61,000 for protective measures, and $1,430 for roads and bridges. Moore says he is confident the city’s application for disaster assistance, which provides up to 70 percent reimbursement, will be approved.
