MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin’s new Democratic governor and Republicans who control the Legislature are having such a hard time getting along that even the signing of a bill as innocuous as removing offensive language from state agency rules blew up into a partisan fight. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Democratic Gov. Tony Evers’ honeymoon was interrupted before he even took office in January, with Republicans hastily calling a lame-duck legislative session to weaken his powers.
