A Sun Prairie man was killed when he was struck by a vehicle traveling the wrong way on Highway 151 in Dodge County over The Memorial Day Holiday weekend. The crash happened shortly after 10pm Sunday on US 151 just north of Redwood Rd in the town of Trenton. An investigation shows that a mini van was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of US 151 and struck a southbound car head on. The driver of the car, a 24 year old Sun Prairie man was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the mini van, a 39 year old Beaver Dam man, was flown by helicopter to a hospital with life threatening injuries. The Sheriff’s Office says alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash.
