Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal crash involving a wrong way driver on Highway 151 in Dodge County over The Memorial Day Holiday weekend. The crash happened shortly after 10pm Sunday on US 151 between Beaver Dam and Waupun. The Sheriff’s Office says a minivan driven by 39 year old Eric Hagenbart, of Beaver Dam was driving northbound in the southbound lanes of 151 when he collided head on with a car driven by 24 year old Ryan Schultz, from Sun Prairie. Schultz was pronounced dead at the scene. Hagenbart was flown by helicopter to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The Sheriff’s Office says alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash.
