The Assembly Democratic leader says he’s talking with the governor’s office about what action to take with the state budget, passed by the Republican controlled legislature. Republican legislators passed the budget last week and sent it to the governor on Friday. When asked if he thinks the governor may veto the entire budget, or make partial vetoes, Democratic state representative Gordon Hintz of Oshkosh says everything is on the table at this point. “We’re at this point in the process where the governor has been pretty clear about what his priorities are. He certainly is disappointed about what is not possible, but they’re going to do their due dilligence, look at what’s in there, look at any partial vetoes that might be able to improve some things and then make a determination on what the best outcome is.”
