7-6-19 congregation of sisters of st. agnes plan public prayer vigil for detained immigrants at southern border

The Congregation of the Sisters of St. Agnes is inviting the public to  join them in a prayer vigil in support of the detained immigrants at  the U.S.-Mexico border.   The  vigil will be held from 6-7pm Friday July 12 in the Chapel of the Sisters of  St. Agnes Motherhouse on County Road K in Fond du Lac.  Sister Ruth Battaglia says attendees will be given LED candles to take home to display in their windows to show support for the immigrants and children.  Sister Ruth says the Congregation has issued a statement denouncing the treatment of the immigrants.
