The Fond du Lac County Dairy and Livestock agent says exhibitors are doing their best make livestock as comfortable as possible at the Fond du Lac County Fair. Extension agent Tina Coleman he key is providing a well-ventilated air space, fresh drinking water, and even hosing them down with water. “A lot of our exhibitors are bringing fans in to help with the ventilation,” Coleman told WFDL news. “With our hogs, they don’t sweat, so the kids will take them out to the wash racks and hose them down and give them a bath a couple of times a day.”
