The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says there were scattered reports of damage from Saturday’s severe weather. Sheriff’s captain Bill Tadych says strong winds knocked down trees in a handful of locations. “There was about a half a dozen trees in the roadway calls that we responded to,” Tadych told WFDL news. I’m sure there were a lot more that were unreported.” Tadych says a number of boaters were scrambling to get off Lake Winnebago as the storm approached. He says on Saturday morning the Sheriff’s Office assisted in the recovery of a capsized fishing boat near Sandy Beach Road. No injuries were reported.
