Thousands of people will gather at Fond du Lac’s Lakeside Park Friday evening for the 25th annual Fond du Lac Relay for Life. The event raises money in the fight against cancer. American Cancer Society’s Katie McCormick says last year’s Relay for Life raised more than $184,000. “There’s so much dedication from the community of Fond du lac in supporting this event and the American Cancer Society for the last 25 years, ” McCormick told WFDL news. Money raised goes to the American Cancer Society to support cancer research, education, information and patient services and advocacy.
