Waupun police say an elderly Mayville woman was critically injured and her grandson is in custody following an incident at a Waupun home.   Police chief Scott Louden tells WFDL news officers were called to the Brandon Street home  Saturday morning for a report of a possible pulseless, non-breathing female.  Louden says the victim was found in the basement of the home.  A 75 year old Mayville woman was flown by helicopter to Theda Care Medical Center in Neenah with what were described severe head injuries.  He says how the woman suffered the injuries are still under investigation.  Louden says the victim’s grandson, a 30 year old Waupun man,  was arrested.   Louden says officers used a Taser before taking the man into custody.  The man faces charges of  disorderly conduct,  resisting,  battery to a law enforcement officer,  and threats to a law enforcement officer.  The house has yellow tape surrounding it, as detectives are continuing their investigation.
