A Lomira man died when the vehicle he was working on rolled on top of him.  Rescue personnel were called to the scene on Third Street Wednesday for a report of a man trapped under the vehicle.  The 61 year old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

(AP) — The state Justice Department has won its first conviction using results from testing thousands of unanalyzed sexual assault kits.  The department announced Thursday that a Waupaca County jury convicted Leroy Whittenberger of three counts of second-degree sexual assault on Wednesday.  According to a criminal complaint filed in April 2018, Whittenberger assaulted a teenage girl in New London in 2012.
