Nobody was injured in a fire that damaged a Waupun home. Early Thursday morning firefighters were called to the scene at 117 Bly Street for a report of fire in the basement. Waupun Fire Chief B.J. DeMaa saysa neighbor noticed the fire and called 911. The fire caused extensive damage to the basement and smoke damage throughout the house. Nobody was home at the time of the fire. Two pet dogs were taken to a local vet clinic for observation.
