A new council formed to coordinate election security will hold its first meeting Wednesday. The Wisconsin Elections Security Council will advise the state Elections Commission and serve as a meeting point for federal, state and local officials. Fond du Lac County Clerk Lisa Freiberg is on the council. “My wording to everyone is this is not just for 2020, this is the new way,” Freiberg told WFDL news. “…we need to be prepared security-wise and be on the same page with everyone involved in elections in 2020 and beyond.”
