A public open house will be held this afternoon for a longtime Fond du Lac County dispatcher. Frank Quick is retiring after more than 33 years of service as a 911 dispatcher. Quick began his career in 1987 as a city of Fond du lac dispatcher. When the dispatch center was consolidated he became a county employee in 2003. An open house will be held from noon to 3pm Friday at the Fond du Lac County Dispatch Center at 63 Western Avenue for current public safety members, retirees and those that have worked with Quick over the years. The public is welcome between 2pm and 3pm.
