Fond du lac police are investigating a reported sexual assault of a teenage girl at Lakeside Park. A woman told police that her 14 year old daughter told her that on October 14 a man told her to get into his vehicle and he sexually assaulted her. The mother said her daughter reported it to school officials but they told her to report it to police. She says the incident occurred east of the Pavilion at the park. The suspect’s vehicle is described as a purple colored van. The suspect was described as a white male, about 30 years old with light brown hair and a beard.
