With the CDC predicting a severe flu season the Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer is encouraging residents to get a flu shot. Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says the CDC is basing their prediction in part on the flu season that is winding down in Australia. There were 270,000 confirmed flu cases in Australia this year compared to 60,000 cases the year before. Mueller says there is plenty of vaccine available. She says you can get a flu shot at the Public Health Office on the third floor of the city-county government center during normal business hours.
