12-2-19 fatal beaver dam fire victims identified

Authorities have identified the victims of a fatal house fire in the town of Beaver Dam.  The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says 82 year old Eleanor Neumann was pronounced dead at the hospital.  Ninety-one year old Ruben Neumann was treated at the hospital for non life-threatening injuries.  Firefighters from seven departments battled the fire Thursday night on Watercress Road .   The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A bipartisan group of lawmakers is looking to expand notifications when serious criminals are released from prison.  The legislators introduced a bill Wednesday that calls for the Department of Corrections to notify police in the community where the convict will reside, work or attend school. LINCOLN, Neb. 11-29-19 fdl police pinning ceremony

11-28-19 family of drowning victim donates rescue kits to fdl county sheriff’s office
