This week’s snowstorms set records for the month of October. National Weather Service meteorologist, Denny Van Cleve, says the snowstorm Tuesday dumped anywhere from two inches in Fond du Lac to three or four inches in other locations and another four inches of snow Thursday…breaking records for the month of October. Van Cleve says there are chances for at least periods of snow through at least the middle part of this week. “We actually see this kind of pattern in winter where we get into a cold northwest flow and you get these clippers riding through this northwest flow,” Van Cleve told WFDL news. “They’re not heavy precipitation makers. They’re drier systems, but their frequent, every 24 to 48 hours.”
