12-31-19 fdl north main street project

One of the bigger street projects in the city of Fond du Lac next year involves a  portion of North Main Street.  Public Works director Jordan Skiff says after a delay this year construction is scheduled to begin next spring on the reconstruction of North Main between Merrill Avenue and East Johnson Street.  Skiff says the project will improve safety and upgrade a stretch of Main Street in need of repaving.   As  part of the reconstruction project  Skiff says there will also be an off-street multi-use trail on the north side of Merrill, with bicycle lanes on Main Street.
