1-31-20 split verdict reached in fdl shooting case

A Fond du Lac jury has reached a split verdict in the case of a  Fond du Lac man charged in a shooting incident last year.   The jury found 26 year old  Mohamed Elmhdati not guilty of attempted first degree intentional homicide and  armed robbery.  Elmhdati was found guilty of six counts including first degree reckless injury and aggravated battery, punishable by up to more than 50 years in prison.  Police say Elmhdati […]

1-31-20 murder accomplice placed on probation

A 21-year-old Ixonia woman has been placed on probation for  helping a convicted killer  hide a Beaver Dam man’s body at the Dodge County property where she lived.   Dodge County Circuit judge Brian Pfitzinger placed Dakota Schlesner on two years probation with 10 months in jail.   Schlesner was earlier  found guilty of aiding a felon.  Twenty one year old Nigel Schultz of  Fond du Lac was earlier convicted of  first-degree homicide  in the shooting death […]
