The Fond du lac County District Attorney says he’s glad the governor allowed churches to offer drive up services this Easter holiday. Eric Toney says he believes the governor made the right call. “Religion isn’t just about hearing the sermon it’s that community folks have to be a part of that church or religious group,” Toney told WFDL news. “When we can go to the store and buy whatever type of alcohol we want with little to no social distancing, it was very concerning to me if this type of church practice had not been allowed.” Evers last week denied a request from Republican lawmakers asking him to roll back is order that doesn’t allow more than 10 people to gather for a church service.
